Spanish term or phrase: agua sanitaria
What is the best translation into British English of this term. I take it to mean mains water, not necessarily fit for drinking, for example. Am I right in that?

"En la primera se ubican los aljibes de agua sanitaria e incendios, así como, los grupos de presión y los equipos de tratamiento de aguas."

The expression "water mains" is used for the water supply system, but I have never hears of "mains water". It doesn't sound correct to me but I might be mistaken.

sanitary water

Explanation:
sounds strange in English, at least to me, but in a recent translation I discovered that it is actually used quite often, especially in the matter of water heating and filtration. Look it up online and you'll see lots of hits for "sanitary water" and "sanitary hot water."
Personally, I like "domestic water supply" as already proposed, but evidently "sanitary water" is not as strange as it sounds to me.
