Spanish to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / Lightning rods
Spanish term or phrase:"fijaciones del mástil"
The following is a problematic sentence for me:
Las fijaciones del mástil a muros o elementos de construcción que sobresalgan de la cubierta no estarán separadas más de 700 mm.
I have translated it "fijaciones" as "clamps/mounts" and "mástil" as "pole." Is this appropriate?
Also, would "cubierta" simple be "cover"?
This is my translation:
There will be a separation of no more than a 700 mm between the mounts/clamps attaching the pole to walls or between construction components which protrude from the cover.
