Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / sanitary pipework | | Spanish term or phrase: tubo rizado | Please see the link for a picture of what this is. It is for protecting/insulating hot and cold water pipes for sanitary fittings.

After looking at about a thousand curtain rods - see link below - I have cpome to the conclusion that only the company you mentioned makes exactly this product. So, I think maybe a descriptive translation might work best. But, I was really, really rooting for "frizzle tube."

Sorry, I got thrown off the track by this (see link below), which was the only other example of "tubo rizado" I could find. Maybe "decorative chrome tube with spiral design"? I searched quite a bit and found nothing similar to your photo.

I also considered "chrome tube with spiral groove/helical groove". It describes exactly what the object is ... so it really can't be wrong. It's just longer than the original. |
