Hi,

This is shown on an invoice for construction work carried out. It is included below the subtotal but before the VAT is added.

Does anyone know what G.G. and B.I. stand for?

Many thanks : )

genereal expenses and industrial profit
Explanation:
GG = Gastos Generales = General Expenses

BI = Beneficio Industrial = Industrial Profit

This has come up before and there are different opinions on how to translate the terms, I believe. I'll try to find them

G.G. = Gastos Generales = Overheads

Explanation:
This is the British way (at least) of translating Gastos Generales (General Expenses - which is also understood). I shall come back with a proper translation for "Beneficio Industrial" soon

Example sentence(s):
  • "hemos considerado como margen apropiado de gastos generales y beneficio industrial el 11% del importe resultante total de Ejecución Material de la reparación...
