Spanish term or phrase: doble sistema de riego
From a newspaper article about a park built on top of a buried road. The paragraph talks about the different species of trees and how they can survive in shallow soil. This is the sentence I'm having problems with:

Los árboles tendrán, además, un doble sistema de riego

In my draft I've got 'double irrigation system' but that's just a literal guess. Does anyone understand the term or know how it could be translated?
