Spanish term or phrase: a la superficie del módulo y el meridiano del lugar
This is an article about how to design buildings more efficiently by optimizing energy demand and photovoltaic energy generation. Actually, I need help with the phrase between the asterisks. This is about the second part of the phrase. I have included more context. The problem sentence is the following:

El ángulo de inclinación β corresponde al ángulo que forma la superficie de los módulos con el plano horizontal y su valor está entre 0° y 90° (ver figura 7). En este caso se ha escogido la inclinación óptima para un periodo de diseño anual , siendo la latitud del lugar de diseño.

El ángulo de azimut α define el ***ángulo entre la proyección sobre el plano horizontal de la normal a la superficie del módulo y el meridiano del lugar***, con valores entre -90° y 90°
