Explanation:
Please see the 1st ref for pile cutting, which has pictures.

I'm sure I've answered a question on pile head removal before, but can't find it. See 2nd ref and below

Hand/Arm Vibration Syndrome and noise … more commonly known in the industry as vibration white finger or HAVS. The aim is to eliminate or reduce risk from HAVS and noise at the design stage and managing risk, particularly during scabbling, pile head removal by breaker and hand tunnelling. This risk occurs when there has been long-term, frequent and intensive use of equipment which produces vibration and noise i.e. pneumatic breakers, disc grinders (2nd ref)

Another ref. And sorry I got rid of the first answer. I put the refs in the wrong place!!!

HAVS/Noise - Assess and control exposure during hand tunnelling, pile head removal and scabbling.

pile cap removal is another way of saying the second term:

The management of any residual risk during the work, particularly during scabbling, pile cap removal by breaker and hand tunnelling.

More info for the first term (pile cutting).
Eliminate the costly time consuming, not to mention potentially dangerous old cutting method, which involved the use of jackhammers, compressors, diamond saws, cranes and lifts, and multiple laborers. Let AMERICAN PILE CUTTING, INC. cut the piles on your next project and enjoy these benefits:

The Prime Pile Cutter has many benefits and uses but this is where American Pile Cutting and this relatively new cutting technology really shine. This versatile machine can cut under bent caps above water, below water and even below mud line.
