I have not seen this term in Buenos Aires before, and Google hits almost all refer to the city of Rosario, Argentina's second largest, so it could be a very local usage. Then you have to look at what you already have on your list and find what is missing. You already have flats in self-standing tower blocks and tall buildings, so I strongly suspect they are referring to ground-floor apartments along a passageway (rather than a corridor) Some of the Google photos seem to bear this out. |
