La solución es atirantado, pero a fin de mantener una altura de pila similar a la actual. Se ha utilizado una solución de “pretensado extradorsal” con una rigidez mayor de tablero al ser menor la eficacia de los tirantes. Los tirantes suministrados por BBR, prestan doble protección formada por vaina de PEAP e inyección de cemento. Los vanos de los viaductos de acceso están formados por vigas prefabricadas. La zona central se ejecuta in situ cimbrando los vanos de retenida y por voladizos el vano central.La construcción se realizó hormigonando in place sobre cimbra.

Sorry Joan, Nikki is right....atirantado is cable stayed....

Is this about the Ozama bridge? The texts say it is a hybrid of a suspension bridge and a cable stayed bridge. I wrote an engineer. Let\'s see what he says...

neutral  Nikki Graham: puente atirantado = cable-stayed bridge. I don't know what the extradorsal is referring to here, but it doesn't mean cable-stayed.
