Spanish term or phrase: cola del embalse
I am having a hard time grasping what part of a reservoir is referred to in Spain as the "cola". The following is from a tourism site;
"La fiesta consiste en una romería que se celebra en la COLA del embalse del Guadalhorce..."
Logically it seems it would be the shore farthest from the dam but sites I refer to lead me to think it means the contained water itself.
