| Note from asker to answererThanks. I guess I'll go with this one because there seems to be some evidence that other people have translated it as "charcoal oil". I think I might put something like "oil flavoured with charcoal" though.

Asker: Thanks. The thing is, I'm not sure because when I looked up "coal oil" as a possible translation, I saw that it is used for illumination purposes and is similar to or even synonymous with "kerosene", which I can't imagine cooking with... Do you think there could be another possible translation?
