Spanish to English translations [PRO] Cooking / Culinary
Spanish term or phrase:leche de cabra a la piedra
Not very helpful context, unfortunately. It appears in an ingredient list: "1 l leche de cabra a la piedra." It is then mixed with salt water to make brine, which is in turn used to soak foie gras.
I've been looking but haven't had any luck... Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Had to ask the author about this one. Apparently, this is something very Spanish... the milk is aromatized with red-hot stones. I'm going to italicize the original and include a translator's note. Thanks for the help!
