Este es un guiso típico de los antiguos ferroviarios de La Robla. Lo hacían aprovechando el vapor de las máquinas del tren. Hoy en día se hace de una forma más normal en los fogones de casa o en las vitrocerámicas, pero sigue siendo un guiso sencillo y bueno. En el pueblo de Mataporquera (Valdeolea), se hace en las fiestas del pueblo.
Ingredientes para Olla Ferroviaria 4 personas:

* 1 Kgr. de carne de aguja de de ternera
* 1 copa de vino blanco
* 1 hoja de laurel
* 2 dientes de ajo
* 1 cucharón de aceite de oliva
* 1 Kgr. de patatas



* 2 zanahorias
* 1 cebolla
* 1 puerro
* 2 pimientos verdes
* Sal
* pimienta
