My inclination is to leave it as it is, perhaps adding Lottery, but thought I'd check to see what you all think...

I'd leave it as it is, perhaps adding a note to explain that the reason behind the name is that it was the first lottery to be introduced in Spain, in the 18th century.

Retrospective I imagine. Unless it was called something similar to "Primitiva" in Italy (?) where it originated.

Thanks for your help Andy. I find this same lottery also referred to as the Numbers Lottery, esp when distinguishing it from the later Lotería Moderna.
