Muriel, the apparent contradiction comes in my view from conflating price elasticity with price changes/variation.

Precisely because demand is inelastic - i.e. not very responsive to price changes - price need not be sensitive to it and is therefore inelastic. That is why it tends to vary - generally in an upward direction. They can get away with it.
Frequent price hikes or artificially maintained high prices, yes; price elasticity no.

I hope that answers that bit of your question. Your proposed 'inelastic demand relative to the price' strikes me as good as the other perfectly good suggestions here.

I'm not sure there is a contradiction (though I am not an expert in this area). From looking at examples of usage, I get the sense that "Elasticidad/Inelasticidad de precio" does or can actually mean "(in)elasticity with respect to price" rather than "of price". In effect, "Inelasticidad de precio" is short for "Inelasticidad de precio de la demanda", literally "Price inelasticity of demand". Consider this example:
"Entonces, se define elasticidad de precio de la demanda a la respuesta o sensibilidad de los consumidores a un cambio en el precio de un producto , es decir la medición de cuánto cambia la cantidad demandada cuando cambia el precio de ese producto"

Tienes razón en que una demanda inelástica generalmente conlleva elasticidad en precios, pero tal vez sólo redactaron mal el encabezado de la sección. Suele suceder ;) En todo caso, yo traduciría lo que dice, se contradiga o no, o bien, hablaría con el cliente para pedir que me aclarara qué fue lo que quisieron decir.
