cyclical indicators Explanation: They're talking business sentiment/household confidence etc, i.e. the stage of the economic "cycle" (up or down) that Peru was in at the time. "Economic sentiment indicator" looks like it would be fine for your text too (I can't say for sure for a US audience), although beware that cyclical indicators can be further divided into "soft" (sentiment/confidence etc) and "hard" (manufacturing output etc) indicators. |
