Spanish to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy
Spanish term or phrase:formativo
Module: European education systems and professional skills (3 credits)
Lecturer: Dr A Miñambres
Course content: Education systems of member states. Analysis and comparison between them. **Currícula formativo en base a competencias profesionales**. Assessment and certification of transversal skills.
All bilingual dictionaries say "formative", but this is FrEspanglish to me. What would you use?
Isn't it possible that competencias profesionales should be "professional areas"? (Basic is more widely used than formative - see, for ex., www2.prs.k12.nj.us/District/ BoardPolicies/6000Group/6142.html )
