The Academic Secretary works directly with the Dean of Studies, Head of Teaching and Learning, Business Applications Architect and Heads of Department. The role requires a high level of interpersonal skills to ensure
positive and effective relationships with College staff as well as parents and the wider community.
The appointee will provide support in a wide variety of tasks, including the management of academic reporting in Years Prep -12. Attention to detail and accuracy are required to effectively assist with subject tracking and units
of credit for senior students to complete their Year 12 exit, and to assist Heads of Department in correctly completing Verification and all forms relating to the Year 12 exit.
The Academic Secretary will be responsible for assisting with the organisation of key events in the Academic calendar, e.g. Parent Teacher Interview evenings and NAPLAN, as well as presentation of Certificates, Lines and Colours to students in years 7-12 at Middle and Senior Assemblies. The appointee will require the ability to effectively resolve email, telephone and student enquiry over a broad range of areas, and above all, support the ethos of the College.
