I've taken Liz's arguments into account, and I can't deny that "Education Inspectorate" is a much more frequently-used term in English, although it is decidedly British. Subsituting "Sector" for "Area" in my original reply (which was lifted directly from a Spanish university website), might make for another, more American-English-friendly alternative.

disagree  liz askew: these are both translations! and do not make sense in English...I should say "translations by a non-English speaker"

-> Liz, I updated the glossary earlier today with your suggestion, since "Education Inspectorate" seems to be a common term in other European countries. You don't have to be non-native to make the mistake of translating a foreign title word-for-word.
