Spanish term or phrase: Educación
Necesito que me ayuden con el término "Libre" y "Promoción" en un Certificado de Estudios Universitarios.
Es la condición del estudiante con respecto a la materia que rindió. Para que se den una idea son tres las posibilidades: Regular, Libre (no es alumno regular y preparó la materia por su cuenta) y Promoción (este último significa que con las notas de los exámenes parciales del año no fue necesario que rindiera el examen final porque ya la aprobó).

  -> Digamos que "se me chispoteó". En cuanto a Independent Study, supongo que el cert. analítico es de Argentina. Libre se refiere al alumno que por inasistencias o nota inferior a la requerida pierde su condición de regular. No es quien estudia a distancia

he is not a regular student, maybe he attends an "open School for adults", he is a free student who prepared the exams for that subject on his own and he was promoted because his grades were good enough on the partial exams

Fijate también si la clasificación incluye tanto a los alumnos libres por decisión propia como a los libre por faltas. Esa es otra diferencia. Fijate y contanos.
