I know these stand for "Escuela técnica superior/ de ingeniería", but I need to know what the equivalent British translation would be. In Canada it would probably a technical college (not high school, more like a university level school)...

I do not know what country it is from (CONTEXT) and I am not sure how it would fit in Canadian or UK English, I'm USA.
