Spanish term or phrase: tipo T/O; T.CNV
Hi all, I am translating somebody's university records from Spain. One column is headed TIPO, and the values are T and O. I have no idea what these values are. Another column is headed T.CNV. Once again, I have no idea what this is. Anybody here been through the Spanish university system and can tell me?

TIA, MJ

Tipo Troncal/Obligatoria; Tipo de convalidación

Explanation:
Existen tres tipos de asignaturas:

Troncales, Obligatorias y Optativas

Notes to answerer
Asker: Sorry, Smarttrans, I closed the question before I noticed you had answered. The values below T. Cnv are numbers from 1 to 6. I think it may be the number of times each exam was taken.
