Spanish to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy / Graduation certificate | | Spanish term or phrase: acto de grado, mediante delegación | Hello, I'm translating a letter from a Colombian university certifying that a person has pursued a degree in this university.
Could you please help me understand this sentence:
"...se reunieron el Rector Nacional, Decano... con el fin de llevar a cabo el acto de grado, mediante delegación efectuada por el Rector nacional contenida en la resolución ..."
I understand that "acto de grado" would be a graduation ceremony but I don't get the meaning of "delegación".
Any ideas? Thank you!! |
