En los diccionarios "titularidad" es "ownership" o llegar a ser "a permanent member of the staff". En la universidades norteamericanas, por lo menos, eso se llama "tenure"


"cátedra" con una "a" quiere decir "professorship" or "chair" (jefe del departamento)

En los diccionarios "titularidad" es "ownership" o llegar a ser "a permanent member of the staff". En la universidades norteamericanas, por lo menos, eso se llama "tenure"

agree  Peter van der Hoek: Sounds fine to me Mike. I was looking for the cátedres with an "e" as well but didn't come any further than the one with "a".

agree  Marcelo González: :-) >That seems like a reasonable deduction in regards to tenure, especially since the word for this can vary quite a bit from country to country. At the University of Puerto Rico they call it "permanencia" and here in Mexico they say "definitividad" :-)
