Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy / Teaching Performance Evaluation System | | Spanish term or phrase: abordarse desde una reflexión sobre la propia práctica | From a report about the efforts of a public university in the Basque Country to introduce a new evaluation system for teaching staff performance. It is based on the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) framework for qualifications.
This is one of nine "Evaluation Criteria" for the performance evaluation programme being implemented. Other parts of this report mention the "action-reflection-action" approach it is based on, so I can't really avoid the word "reflection" (or a variant of it) here.
Anyone feeling creative today? 'Cause I could use some inspiration:

Orientación a la innovación docente: La actividad docente debe abordarse desde una reflexión sobre la propia práctica que favorezca la formación continua del profesorado, a través de la autoformación o la formación regulada por otras instancias, y debe desarrollarse desde una predisposición a introducir mejoras que afectan al modo en que se planifica y se desarrolla la enseñanza o se evalúan los resultados de la misma."

| Grading comment Thanks Karen, and everyone for your help here. Later in the document they start referring to this concept as "autoreflexión" and "autocrítica", so this suggestion works best here I feel.
