Education / Pedagogy / Syllabus for a Statistics class

Spanish term or phrase: Créditos: S/C. 3 Horas Semanales

I am translating a syllabus for a Statistics class from a University in Venezuela. This line appears towards the top, along with wen the class meets and the professor's name. What I am having trouble with is the S/C abbreviation. Does anyone know what this stands for in Spanish or how it is translated in English? I cannot find a reference to this abbreviation anywhere, although I did find it in a parallel document where it appeared as "Clave de la asignatura: s/c" and later "Num. Créditos: s/c".

If anyone has some insight, I would appreciate your thoughts.
