practical training in / knowledge of how to (use) Explanation: I can't think of anything approaching a literal translation that works in English here. "Contenidos" is a word commonly used to refer to the content of teaching; I think it implies training, though it could be interpreted as knowledge (acquired through training). And "instrumentales" refers to using ICT as a tool: simply knowing how to operate the programs and devices. I have tried to reflect this by including the term "practical", to indicate that the kind of knowledge involved is of this kind rather than theoretical. The extra content you have posted seems to confirm that this is what they're referring to. It's a very free version, but I think it gets the essential meaning and at least it sounds like English. |

contents involving procedural knowledge Explanation: Los "contenidos instrumentales" o "procedimentales" se refieren a un saber instrumental que comprende la ejecución de habilidades, estrategias, técnicas o métodos. Es el saber hacer. "Procedural knowledge" is the knowledge of how to perform, or how to operate. In other words, it is the type of knowledge someone has and demonstrates through the procedure of doing something. Example sentence(s):
