(Castilian Spanish - British English) I understand that Magíster is a Master's Degree. But then I have to translate a lady's title:

Directora del Magíster de Cirugía Bucal --which I suppose is the Director of the Master's Programme in Oral Surgery.

But then the major doubt came with this sentence:

Material y Métodos: registros de TCHC realizados mediante Icatvision de pacientes que acuden al Magíster de Cirugía Bucofacial e Implantología de la Universidad en los últimos 2 años.

The patients go to the Master's Program/Degree/???? for oral surgery?? Does this mean that they go there to let the advanced students "practice" on them? I really don't want to put my foot in it if I am interpreting this incorrectly.

Yes, the patients are there for the students to "practise" on them, as you put it: this degree includes a practical programme, which is hands-on clinical practice on real patients. The patients presumably get a good price (maybe they get free treatment), and the students get to do real dental treatment under expert supervision before they go out into the real world and practise on their own. Makes sense, really.

The course involves use of dental equipment and facilities in two hospitals. Here's the description of the practical part of the programme:
