Registro de Economistas Docentes e Investigadores Register of Educators and Researchers in Economics Explanation: As an umbrella term for both university lecturers and school teachers, I guess you'd have to use educators. I'm not massively keen on it, but it's commonly used now. |

Register of teachers/professors and researchers in economics Explanation: Normally, "docentes in economics"refers to those who are lecturers at university, that is, professors of economics . However, there are teachers that lecture at technical institutions and possibly at secondary school who should also be included. |

Registro de Economistas Docentes e Investigadores Register of Teacher-Researchers in Economics Explanation: 'Teacher-reseachers' is commonly used and appears to fit just fine in this context. Hope this helps! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 hrs (2015-09-15 15:37:11 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Rather than a mere compilation of essentially two separate lists, I believe the source text may refer precisely to teacher-researchers, ie those who engage in BOTH activities. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 hrs (2015-09-15 16:09:13 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Another option may be 'teacher-economists', ie those who engage in both activities. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day5 hrs (2015-09-16 14:34:18 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- My pleasure, Paula. Glad to contribute to the discussion. Cheers from Saipan. |
