Explanation:
In my experience, "residente" in this context usually refers to "resident engineer", but you haven't given a lot of context here.

RESIDENT ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION

Resident Engineers supervise the planning, coordination and implementation of construction projects. The types of projects vary, ranging from constructing bridges to the development of roads and highways. They ensure the projects adhere to all plans and regulations and that safety measures are appropriately taken. A typical day may take place onsite of the current project or in an office preparing for a project. Resident Engineers are sometimes referred to as civil engineers.

Notes to answerer
Asker: I don't have any more context for this one, but it is for a real estate company (selling houses, not building them), so I am guessing it is not an engineer... I am trying to have more context now. Tks.

This is the title of job position for people who are still doing undergraduate studies and are hired by a company and paid a salary, sometimes done in an arrangement that takes place between the college where the student hails from and the company. The position is usually temporary and depending upon performance the person may be given a permanent position.

neutral  Robert Carter: It depends on the country I imagine. In documents I've seen with this title, it's not an internship, it's a much higher ranking position, often more akin to a project manager, particularly in Pemex. Saludos.
