agree  Charles Davis: It was equivalent to US grades 10-12, after EGB, ages 15-17, so High School for US and Upper Secondary or Post-Compulsory Secondary Education for generic international purposes

El polimodal se extendía por tres años y formaba parte de la enseñanza media, sin que su cursada sea obligatoria. Para acceder al polimodal, el alumno debía completar antes el ciclo de Educación General Básica (EGB), equivalente a la Primaria en otros distritos.
