Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy / University
Spanish term or phrase: administrador // gerente
Context: University

Up until now I've been translating "Gerente" by "Administrator", but now I've discovered that the University has an "Administrador". How do I make the distinction between the two?

As I understand it, the "Gerente" is a very high position in the university, second only to the Rector. S/he has responsibilities related to the university finances.

Thanks. Unfortunately I don't need it! I went back on to the original webpage and, lo and behold, the "Administrador" has now become the "Gerent". My initial reaction was that there must have been a mistake on the website before, but I suspect that I actually translated Gerent to Administrator and either mis-typed or had the language set to Spanish or Catalan making the auto-correct change it to the "Pan-Iberian" (with the probable exception of Basque) spelling. I then assumed it was something I had left behind to translate later.
