...although what's in your translation isn't as technical or complicated. These days, it's standard procedure for office wall outlets to have an electric power jack and and phone jack...right next to it.

al parecer hay un problema de redacción del texto original, parace haber sido mal tipeado.
En las oficinas actuales se disponen juntos conectores del tipo RJ45 para red de computadoras y tomas de corriente (power), en este caso cuatro, 2 tomas normales y otras 2 con alimentación de respaldo desde una red con UPS
