Mira lo que sucede es que si un generador es de tres fases, solo hay dos maneras de conectarlo, o estrella o delta. Esto es si es accionado por un pequeño arrollo o es la usina de una central electrica en la presa Hoover. Tengo experiencia en trabajo de campo en generadores. The new ref about "wyes" has little or nothing to do with industrial sized generators (the ref. discusses small to medium voltage for house services and circuits - nothing of generators), nor is there any link whatsoever to the Spanish term - it just proves the term 'wye' exists.
