Tech/Engineering - Energy / Power Generation / Train battery system
Spanish term or phrase: plot de masa
Hi!
I am still with train-related documentation, this time translating a technical specification describing different battery features. I've come across one term I'm having particular problems with: "plot de masa"

Please see further context:

The only document I've found online that actually mentions a "plot de masa" is this one:

https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&q=cache:xDdT_4Crk2gJ:www....

I still don't know what it is though...

earth contact
Explanation:
I have done a bit of research and found that 'masa' can be used to refer to the 'earth' or 'ground' , the 'plot' is a contact point so I think the meaning here is an 'earth connector'

Hi - I'm not sure that grounding clamps are attached to batteries. I have looked at pictures of them and they all seem to be quite large. They do the same job as this does. Maybe there is an expert electrician out there?
