Spanish term or phrase: nubes (see context)

Spanish spanish to UK English. The overall document is discussing the management of documents for a major industrial project. Are these 'nubes' simply rough circles highlighting the changes made to the documents????

"Marcas de revisión que deben conservar los documentos devueltos:

Los planos y documentación de nueva creación se entregarán con ***las nubes*** y triángulos correspondientes a la última revisión efectuada (sea o no “as built”).

Para planos existentes modificados por el proyecto, la Ingeniería devolverá los originales una vez realizado el "as built", remarcando en ellos las modificaciones introducidas mediante ***las nubes**** correspondientes a todas las revisiones del proyecto (incluida la “as built”) y sus correspondientes marcas de identificación (triángulos)."
