It is about a Foundation being created with the aim to provide some answers to current social and enviromental challenges in today's society. Its "mission" is passing on to future generations a healthy, sustainable environment. The term appears in the context of a possible name (to be translated into English) for the foundation, which still does not exist. In this context (slogan or title type):

"Fundación Legado Biocultura Sostenible"

Note: all words are capitalized as it is the name of the foundation (possible)

Provisionally, I interpret the following literal translation:

A few ideas. Legacy would be better expressed as heritage here. Muriel Vasconcellos: Sorry to disagree, Jenni, but I read it as 'sustainable bioculture', which is not captured in either of your suggestions. But 'sustainable bioculture' is a "frozen"concept. Sustainability is a key component of the legacy

-> The issue is the inclusion of heritage or legacy in the name. Rather than stack the terms, I would stay with my first option or try Foundation for the Preservation of Biocultural Heritage.

Explanation:
If it is to be a title or slogan, stacking the terms up does sound a bit awkward. Legacy Foundation does have some ghits.
