Spanish term or phrase: La cuota seguirá siendo la misma
Just to check my understanding of a phrase:

Este tipo de amortización le permite reducir el plazo que le resta del pago de su préstamo. La cuota seguirá siendo la misma.

Could I translate this as:
This kind of repayment allows you to reduce the time period over which your loan payments are spread. The amount will remain the same.

Thanks

I would say payment..you have a loan, you make payments.....

a loan is an installment loan..but in regular English, we make payments.

I have to agree that installment sounds a bit strange for loan repayments, so I'm going to go with Jane's reworking of the sentence. But thanks everyone

I would use \"installment\" here instead of \"amount.\" This way we know the monthly installment does not change, even though one can optionally pay once every four weeks, for example, instead of once a month and thus pay down the mortgage quicker and cut the life of the mortgage (and save a lot of money if there is no pre-payment penalty).
