In view of the question posted on 'posición', as also teh fact that the term is 'acudir por todo su posición', I would suggest this alternaltive:

La opción de no acudir por toda su posición es el criterio de defecto, por lo que no se generará orden alguna

The option of partial positioning is the defect criterion, which results in no order being generated.

Tal como dice Lía, aquí no se trata de asistir personalmente a un acto.
Uno de los significados que Marina Orellana da a "acudir" es "apply to, make application to".
Me parece que es lo que están diciendo con "opción de no acudir por toda su posición es el criterio de defecto":
