Spanish term or phrase: derecho consolidado
"El Consejo de Administración, en su sesión de hoy, ha concedido a determinados Beneficiarios el Derecho Consolidado a adquirir, gratuitamente, XXX acciones de la empresa."

This leads on from my previous question posted ten minutes ago.

In the previous paragraph, it says that the Board of Directors is entitled to grant rights to acquire shares in the company for certain employees. They can then "consolidar" (convert or execute I assume) this right to the shares in the third year from the date on which the right was first granted. This is subject to certain performance related objectives being met.

Now, in this paragraph it implies with "Derecho Consolidado" that the right has already been exercised, which would appear to contradict the previous paragraph.

It's probably very easy but I'm tired and must be overlooking something. Any help appreciated!

conversion right

Explanation:
I think this is about regrouping stock with a second share issue, converting short-term debt into long-term debt, this is what consolidación means in my sources.
