Obligations and Restrictions / Prohibitions
Explanation:
I think you are referring to "Obligaciones" and "Prohibiciones /or Incompatibilidades" of a contract, so I believe this would be ok, yes,

I think this will do fine. Richard - I like your suggestion too, but I have another 2 sections "obligaciones parciales de (no) hacer", and I can't really work your answer into that, so I will go with this one. Thanks everybody.

obligations to do / to refrain from doing

Explanation:
Check this out, MJ!

http://europa.eu.int/comm/justice_home/ejn/enforce_judgement...
Obligations to do or refrain from doing something are enforced by means of a pecuniary penalty, which is a sum of money the debtor must pay in addition to the obligation he must perform. The sum, fixed by a judge, is calculated in proportion to the period of failure to perform (in the case of obligations to do something) or according to the number of breaches of the obligation to refrain from doing something. Since obligations to pay, to give or to return are also interpreted as obligations to do something, a pecuniary penalty may be ordered in addition to other compulsory enforcement measures

Affirmative covenants / / Negative covenants

Explanation:
Tom West's dictionary has the following equivalents for these two terms:
Obligaciones de hacer - Affirmative covenants
Obligaciones de no hacer - Negative Covenants
Black's Law dictionary defines these two terms verbatim as follows:
Affirmative Covenant: A covenant that obligates a party t do some act, especially an agreement that real property will be used in a certain way.
An affirmative covenant is more than a restriction on the use of property. It reuires the owner to undertake certain specified acts.
Negative Covenant: A covenant that requires a party to refrain from doing something, especially in a real estate financing transaction. This entails the borrower's promise to the lender not to encumber or transfer the real estate as long as the loan remanins unpaid.
Hope this helps.
