Bus/Financial - Finance (general) | | Spanish term or phrase: OPAs lanzadas sobre XXX | Hello. Referring to a corporation (XXX) which is receiving takeover bids from two other corporations (YYY and ZZZ):
"Las OPAs lanzadas sobre XXX por YYY y ZZZ"
XXX, YYY and ZZZ being the three companies involved.
I understand that OPA is IPO (initial public offering) but I don't understand the use of "lanzadas sobre"
