He visto que se utiliza a menudo en técnicas de análisis económico la tasa anual media, forma aparentemente más común que tasa media anual. No te puede aclarar mucho, pero encontré un texto sobre técnicas de análisis económico que quizá te resulte útil:

Sin más, me resulta difícil decir si tu caso se refiere a esto, pero T.A. es habitual para tasa anual.

Perdón, tanto en el término facilitado como en la explicación, intercambié TMA y TAM, quise decir que parece ser más frecuente tasa media anual en lugar de tasa anual media. :O)
