Spanish term or phrase: Los movimientos provisionales no tendrán validez hasta su contabilización después del cierre contable
Se refiere a un giro realizado por un banco.
La frase es "Los movimientos provisionales no tendrán validez hasta su contabilización después del cierre contable".
Lo de contabilización después del cierre contable me suena mal hasta en español. Ya no sé si se refiere a availability of funds, a la propia validez de la operación o qué.
Cualquier sugerencia es bienvenida.

OK, in that case, I would say "This transaction will not be posted to your account until settlement occurs". The point is that the bank cannot put the money into your account (regardless of how it's paid, whether by check, wire transfer, money order etc.) until they have the money themselves and this process (getting the money from the original bank) occurs during the "settlement" process. Yes, they do do this every day (it's standard banking procedure) but given your context (and the new info) it's better to just say "until settlement occurs". I should've marked this CL4. HTH. Will.

Alright, may be I made a mistake, instead of account, use "posting", the sentence will remain as follows "Provisional movements will no be valid until their posting after the accounting closure".

Asker: This is quite what I have, with two doubts: movement or transaction, and daily. But what if it takes several days? this is a wire from Europe to the US, in case this clarifies the question. Thanks!
