Explanation:
You will also find the term "pasivos minoristas". Very infrequently but often in discussions related to bank funding and regulatory capital.
Banks can issue two types of subordinated debt: 1) equity qualifying and non-equity qualifying. To qualify as equity or "hybrid capital" it must meet certain conditions (i.e. long term, ability to defer or skip interest payments).
I am not familiar with use of the term "minoristas" but because it is grouped together with client funds...I assume it is not equity/hybrid capital (patrimonio or Nivel/Tier 1) but, at best, Nivel/Tier 2..that is, debt (non-equity) capital or subordinated funding...

this relates specifically to bank capital and what qualifies as core capital (Nivel 1) or supplementary capital (Nivel 2)
