Spanish to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Finance (general) | | Spanish term or phrase: importe así recibido o recuperado de haberse recibido | From a credit contract:
It's the "recuperado de haberse recibido" for which I'm seeking an eloquent translation...thanks in advance! |
| | | amount/sum thus received or recovered, [see below] | Explanation: Sherry: you have to insert a missing comma to understand the statement correctly:
el importe así recibido o recuperado, de haberse recibido o recuperado en la siguiente fecha de vencimiento
and then you translate the sentence as follows:
the amount [or sum] thus received or recovered, in case [or "if"] it has been received or recovered on the following [or next, or subsequent] expiration date........
"de haberse recibido" is to be understood as "in case it was or has been received". I'll give you an example:
"De haberme ido más temprano, hubiera llegado a tiempo".
"Had I left earlier, I would have arrived in time". It's a different form for the conditional.
