lo de Documentación yo me inclinaría por identificarlo como "documentos de identidad", los cuales actualmente a veces ya no son "documentos" en sentido físico, sino chips con datos biométricos, datos informáticos, etc... por eso evito traducirlo en este caso por "documents" y centrarme más en su función identificatoria.
