Spanish to English translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Finance (general) | | Spanish term or phrase: personal de maestranza | From a list of job categories for a bank in Chile:
"El personal que preste servicios en las ramas de maestranza y/o servicios será provisto por la empresa de dos uniformes (camisa y pantalón o mameluco) por año (uno de invierno y otro de verano) y un par de zapatos."
Is "maestranza" being used to refer to maintenance staff in this context? |

| | janitorial/maintenance staff | Explanation: Perhaps one of your questions leans more towards janitoral and the other is maintenance. Not 100% sure, but it does seem like this is referring to the guys who do the clean-up duty.

This reference is for Argentina but I imagine it is the same in Chile. Perhaps this one would be maintenance staff and your first question would be janitorial staff (two jobs that could be performed by the same staff or could be divided into different sections). Just an idea... |
