Este término aparece en un contrato de prestación de servicios redactado en español colombiano:

"Los valores generados por concepto de utilizaciones o gastos y por concepto de administración del convenio, serán facturados por [...], a [...], en pesos colombianos. Los pagos realizados por [...], serán **monetizados** a la Tasa Representativa del Mercado del día en que se lleve a cabo la consignación en las cuentas de [...]."

Me imagino que lo que quiere decir es que los pagos deben ser conformes a la tasa mencionada, pero no sé si el término "monetizar" en este contexto agrega algún significado especial. ¿Alguien está familiarizado con este término? ¡Gracias!

Explanation:
This is not an exact equivalent of the Spanish term, but I'm positive that it's a more natural way to say the same thing in English. It is basically saying that the amounts in question should be put down in the books in Colombian Pesos, at the current exchange rate.
