I understand it as meaning debts/mortgages that can be enforced/foreclosed according to a court ruling, with enforceable assets. Any opinions? |

I agree with you, and do not believe that "fallido" refers to bankruptcy in this context. In my experience, in banking jargon in Spain "fallidos" is short for "créditos fallidos", i.e., uncollectible debts. I interpret "fallidos judiciales" as referring to uncollectible debts subject to (judicial) collection proceedings. The expression "ejecución de los fallidos judiciales con bienes apremiables" may refer to the enforcement of money judgments (awarded in collection proceedings) against judgment debtors who have attachable/realizable assets. |
